Timing, handover and what to ask your builder

The cleanest time to coat is between settlement or lock-up and move-in day, while the garage is empty. Ask your builder when the slab was poured, what curing product was used, whether a moisture membrane went under it, and where the control joints are cut; confirm power is connected and that the garage will not be used as a trade staging area after coating is booked.
